Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment) The Fresh Fruit Company of New Zealand (Freshco) grows, packs and exports a wide range of apple varieties right here in Hawkes Bay. We have grown both in New Zealand and internationally and are at an exciting phase with plans for major volume expansion in orcharding and post-harvest. Looking for a new role within the HR field? If you love recruitment and have a passion for developing our staff in the horticultural industry, then read further. Your primary responsibility will be seasonal recruitment using our employment portal, along with preparing agreements and conducting inductions. In conjunction with senior managers, you will identify key staff that would benefit from working in other business units to develop their skillsets. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of the training and development plan and support the HR team with smaller projects. This is a full-time, 40-hour work week Monday to Friday position. Recruitment Support Conduct phone screens and arrange induction schedules. Complete applicant agreement packages. Perform company inductions for new seasonal staff. Training and Development In conjunction with managers for each key business unit, develop a training and development plan. Monitor new recruits against the training and development plan. As the successful candidate, you will have: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential). A sense of humour. Good communication, verbal and written skills. Current Full Driver's Licence.
