Reporting to our Senior Managers HR Advisory, you will be part of the wider HR & Communications business function at Westpac.
With strong and clear leadership, the role will support our people leaders, uplift their capability, and provide HR and Policy advice.
You will create and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders and positively engage, raising the HR brand within the business.

With a strong focus on Employee Relations, this role will see you managing cases from end to end across a wide range of ER matters, including disciplinaries, performance management, interpersonal conflicts, and wellbeing matters.
Ideally, you will have a strong understanding of employment law and the ability to manage cases end to end while working collaboratively with managers and providing timely advice.
This role develops strong relationships with the wider HR team and supports them to drive people agendas and plans across all Business Units including: Educating, coaching, and advising business leaders on a full range of HR policies, practices, and processes Managing ER cases from end to end including but not limited to disciplinaries, absence, investigations, and performance management Managing complex cases along with line managers to achieve the best people outcomes Partnering with HR Business partners and Business Managers to work through complex initiatives and employee matters Assisting line managers with a variety of staff-related matters Supporting with people projects and cyclical HR activities This opportunity will allow you to build upon your strong Employment Relations knowledge and generalist experience with a strong focus on employee relations.
