Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment) New World Feilding have an exciting new opportunity for a HR Manager to join our team. We're 100% locally owned and a dynamic, fast paced business committed to providing excellence for our community through Teamwork, Fun and Integrity. With around 120 people across the store, we're looking for a skilled HR professional that can positively influence, manage, and communicate effectively with our diverse team. The Role Standard hours – Monday to Friday. In this hands-on HR/Compliance role, you'll engage directly with our staff and customers, managing any issues that arise in a professional and personable manner. You'll have the opportunity to get stuck in with recruitment, performance management, health and safety and staff development. As a 7 day a week business some weekend work and/or contact will be required. Ensure appropriate procedures for recruiting staff is followed utilising reference checking, succession planning, advertising strategies and meeting all legislative requirements. Induction, onboarding, training, and development Work closely with the Owner Operator, Operations Manager(s), Department Managers and Supervisors, Payroll/HR Administrator Lead and support the Performance Management Program within the store, advising department managers with conflict resolution and disciplinary matters. Ensure all Health & safety and Food safety procedures and systems within the store that they are appropriately maintained at a level which ensures compliance in all audits. Investigate accidents, undertake hazard reviews and work with the Health & Safety Working Group and Management Team to continually develop a 'Safety' culture. Oversee food safety, ensuring all records and processes meet the requirements of our Food Control Plan. What's in it for you? Formal Training / Degree in Human Resources Previous HR experience Adaptive and Versatile Health & Safety systems knowledge and experience Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
