Our client is seeking an HR Business Partner to join their team in Auckland. This role is pivotal in managing and leading all formalised performance management, employment relations procedures, and HR strategies to support company objectives. The successful candidate will be an influencer, approachable, compassionate, and resilient. What you'll do: As an HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the human resources landscape of our client's organisation. You will manage key relationships with site personnel, engineers, senior leadership team members, and external providers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expertise in people management, employment relations, and HR Strategy to support company objectives. You will also lead all formalised performance management procedures. Your ability to drive adoption of relevant systems with managers and staff will be critical to your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to design and implement new company-wide processes for performance reviews.
* Manage the whole life-cycle of people management
* Drive adoption and utilisation of relevant systems with their user group - managers and staff.
* Oversee and facilitate the resolution of Personal Grievances.
* Lead HR performance management, redundancies, medical incapacities etc.
* Embed the company culture and values throughout the business.
* Design and implement a new company-wide process for performance reviews.
* Create, implement and execute regular HR training for acting managers across the business.
* Monitor employee progress and performance, promptly intervening if performance standards are not met.
* Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, processes and management tools.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this position brings a wealth of experience from previous roles within human resources. You should have at least five years of experience at either a Business Partnering level or a senior advisor, preferably within the construction, manufacturing or logistics industries. Your background as an HR Generalist will be invaluable in this role, particularly your experience with performance management, document administration, advisory work, and managing redundancies. Your ability to work autonomously and your passion for HR will set you apart from other candidates.
* 5 years' experience as a Business Partner or Senior Advisor.
* Proven experience as an HR Generalist: performance management,redundancies, management of employee life cycle
* Ability to work autonomously
* Passionate about HR with strong influencing skills.
* Resilient with excellent interpersonal skills.
