Founded in 1905 as the Straits Settlements and Federated Malay States Government Medical School, NUS is the oldest higher education institution in Singapore Job description: Job Description We invite applications from suitable candidates to join School of Computing's Human Resource Partners (HRPs). The HRBP is responsible for handling day-to-day HR matters and plays a critical role in aligning HR Strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success. • Partner and support the Heads of Departments and Line Managers in a proactive and consultative approach, including but not limited to a full spectrum of HR functions which includes Talent Acquisition, Campus Visit, Staff Retention, Compensation and performance appraisals as well as learning and development. • Partner Centres of Excellence (COE) in reviewing, developing and implementing / administering HR guidelines and work processes. • Participate in projects on an ad-hoc basis. • Brainstorm ideas for improvement on processes and translate them into action plans Qualifications • Bachelor degree in HR Management or equivalent, and iHRP certification. • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as a HR Business Partner • Good communication skills - good command of written and spoken English. • Good knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, etc. • Strong analytical and meticulous skills. • Good people management skills - a team player with a positive attitude who is able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Willingness to take ownership of task assigned and strive for continuous improvement. • Strong sense of teamwork and willing to help across different business functions when required.
