To provide leadership and direction to the HPS Supply Chain team and to contribute to the overall operational and financial success of Hynds.Hynds requires all team members to take individual responsibility for good health and safety practices.Key ResponsibilitiesEffectively recruit, manage and lead the team.
Set the standard for professional behaviour and lead by example.Create and implement the Hynds Sales Price Strategy including margin optimisation, monitor and control the implementation of the Strategy, identify and analyse trends in market movements.Leverage CLM technology to meet current and future business needs, create and maintain processes which support CLM.Design procedures to evaluate and select suppliers.
Evaluate vendor delivery, negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and vendors, monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to vendors.Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste and optimise customer service.Monitor forecasts to determine effects on supply chain activities.Key Attributes5 years + experience in a Supply Chain Management role, in a medium to large enterprise in the water infrastructure industry.Tertiary qualified and with the skills for training and educating our business and wider Group on all aspects of Supply Chain.
Has passion/focus on results.
Can demonstrate ability to change the result themselves and through their people.
Takes accountability for result.Clear understanding of financial numbers and the drivers and factors that can influence business performance (foreign exchange rates, margin, etc.
