Increased Employer Kiwisaver contributionFifth week of Annual Leave (after 12 months of employment)Paid Wellbeing Days (2 days a year)HealthNow Payment Card - $250 per year to support Health and Wellbeing for you and your whanauThe Role | Mo tenei turanga mahi This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, based in Manukau and working across South Auckland. Elements of the role may require travel. This role will involve working within the Housing First service. The wrap-around community housing-based service will have a strong focus on transition, recovery and wellness that empowers tangata whai ora and whanau to build the capacity to live well.
The position will require assisting individuals with high and complex needs, who are often living with intergenerational challenges, mental health, addiction and trauma issues around their needs to find and sustain homes in the community.

If you have a background in the mental health and social domains, especially with some exposure to housing and residential recovery services (although it's not a strict requirement), we are excited to receive your input. Ideally, you will possess:
Must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognized equivalent. Alternatively, you will commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with LinkPeople. This needs to be completed within two years of commencement. LinkPeople offers significant support for Housing Case Workers to complete this study.Strong communication and relationship building skills, you'll quickly build credibility while showcasing your sound problem solving and conflict resolution skills.An ability to work at pace and flourish under pressure will be complemented by excellent attention to detail and proficiency in record keeping.Knowledge of and demonstrate utmost commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi articles and working with Maori.A full New Zealand driving license is also essential.Closing Date | Ra Katinga: 3 November 2024.
