Together, we're on a journey to see communities transformed and futures reimagined through compassion, connection, and action.Visionwest's Community Housing service is actively addressing the issue of homeless in New Zealand by providing safe, quality, affordable rental accommodation for low-income families who cannot access Government-supplied accommodation or afford a private rental.Mo te turanga | About the roleAs part of our housing operations team, you will provide the back office administrative and operational support to our teams, so that they can focus on working directly with whanau in need.Key responsibilities of the Housing Administrator role include:Tenancy administration – invoicing, managing repairs and maintenance, record keeping and tracking payments from tenants.Credit card reconciliation.General administration – event coordination, travel planning, correspondence, reporting and responding to queries.Onboarding – working with the recruitment tam to onboard new staff.Reception cover when needed.As an experienced administrator you will have great attention to detail and understand how to manage confidential information in an appropriate way.Skills and experience we are looking for include:Previous administration and coordination experience preferred.Computer literacy especially with the Microsoft suite.Strong interpersonal skills.The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.He aha tau e whiwhi ai? | What's in it for you?A supportive and collaborative team environment that values innovation and integrity.A chance to work in an organisation committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Immediate Sick Leave: Start with sick leave entitlement from your first day.Dedicated Wellbeing Days: Receive 5 Wellbeing Days each year to recharge and focus on what matters most to you.Work Close to Home: If you live in West Auckland, you'll appreciate the convenience of working close to home.**You must have the right to work in New Zealand, and you will be required to undergo police vetting and additional checks to be considered for this position.Applications close once the role has been filled.
