Quest Atrium serviced apartment offers guests a relaxed and comfortable Wellington accommodation experience perfect for short or long stays. We have 50 serviced apartments including Studios, One-Bedroom, and Two-Bedroom Apartments conveniently located within Wellington's main shopping area and is an easy walk to the Wellington CBD and Parliament.
We are looking for an energetic and hands-on person to assist in leading our housekeeping team in providing the best accommodation experience for our corporate and leisure guests. The work schedule will include weekdays and one-day weekends from 8:30am till 4:30pm-ish depending on the days.
Daily duties involved but not limited to the following: Provide leadership to the housekeeping team and its operations Inspire, develop, and train the housekeeping team to meet Quest expectations Preparing rosters, ordering linens and room supplies Preparation and presentation of guest accommodation to high standards Clean equipment and rooms according to Quest standards Check, replenish or replace room supplies and materials Communicate with guests in a friendly and professional manner Work cooperatively with colleagues to complete assigned duties The ideal person that we are looking for needs to have the following: 2 – 3 years of housekeeping lead experience People person with great communication and delegating skills Ability to lead a team and work to timeframes Take pride and a can-do attitude to work A keen eye for detail An approachable, friendly demeanor Quest Atrium Benefits: On-going training and development Subsidised lunch hours Uniform provided Well rewarded, including incentives and social events We would love to hear from you if you wish to challenge yourself, please send your resume to us.
Please Note: You MUST be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a current and open work visa with at least 24 months until expiry. Sponsorship or visa variation will not be provided for this position.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
