We are looking for 3 fast & responsible Housekeeper Supervisors with the appropriate skills to manage and supervise our housekeeping team. This role is suited for someone who has a passion for the motel/hotel industry, attention to details and great service with a genuine smile.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Performing all necessary housekeeping activities to ensure guest rooms are cleaned as per the required standards.
Coordinating and monitoring all Housekeeping activities.
Being responsible for daily allocations of rooms and duties to other housekeepers.
Responding to guest requests politely and efficiently.
Working in a safe and efficient manner.
Providing training to other staff members and supervising the quality of work.
Managing inventory and ordering stock to ensure smooth operation of the business.
Enforcing health and safety procedures at the workplace to ensure staff members can work in a safe working environment.
Job pre-requisites:
Be flexible to work on weekends and public holidays.
Must be able to pass Police and Ministry of Justice checks.
Be physically fit for the role.
Have strong communication skills.
Have strong problem-solving skills.
Be able to speak both Mandarin and English as most of our overseas clients have limited English ability and can only speak Mandarin.
Be hard working and be a good team player.
Days required: 5 days per week from 9am-9pm
Hours per week: minimum of 30 hours work and maximum of 40 hours a week
Hourly rate: $28-$31 per hour depending on performance
