Millennium Hotel & Resort Manuels Taupo has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Housekeeping Team as Housekeeping Operations Manager.
Situated right on the lake edge and featuring 71 rooms, our boutique hotel and motel offers stunning views of the lake, mountains, and town, award-winning restaurants, and exceptional conference venues, all with a long-standing reputation for exceeding guests' expectations.
This is a hands-on, full-time position (minimum 40 hours per week) on a permanent term with flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the needs of our guests.
Key Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will thrive in a dynamic environment and embrace the responsibility of being a key member of the Management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated leader or supervisor to gain further development and exposure to broader hotel operations.
The successful candidate will: Possess a positive, can-do attitude
Have the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
Have 2 -3 years' of relevant experience at a supervisory level
Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, fostering a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic team
Exhibit strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise according to the hotel's daily needs
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Clarity PMS, good computer, and administration skills are highly desirable
