Housekeeping Manager

We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager for Nomads Capital.
The Housekeeping Manager should have an eye for detail, a passion for creating fantastic experiences for our guests and team.

Leading the team and ensuring your department has a standard of cleanliness, quality and efficiency.
A strong communicator and motivator.
Work with the Hostel Manager to ensure the efficient and cost effective running of the Department, achieving the standards of cleanliness and guest care outlined by Hostel policies and procedures.
Conducting daily team briefings, including task assigning and guest feedback, ensuring all relevant information passed onto staff.
Train employees to constantly improve skills and knowledge.
Perform daily checking of bedrooms and public areas to maintain standards.
Ensure the safe storage effective use of cleaning materials and equipment.
Assist with regular equipment, amenities and linen stock taking.
Communicate with Front Office regarding "inspected" rooms ensuring guest requirements are met.

Qualifications

Experience in a supervisory role within a Hotel or Hostel.
Have the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet goals.
