Southern Cross North Harbour Hospital
Southern Cross North Harbour Hospital is the only private surgical in-patient hospital on Auckland's North Shore. North Harbour Hospital has 8 Operating Rooms, a 14 bed Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, a modern well-equipped day stay facility, and a 70-bed ward which includes a 4 bed intermediate care facility (ICF).
Surgical specialties include General Surgery, Gynaecology, Oral & Maxillofacial surgery, Urology, Orthopaedic surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, Otolaryngology, and Robotic Surgery.
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable housekeeper to join our team at Southern Cross North Harbour Hospital. We have a 0.5-0.7 FTE role available, working rostered shifts from Monday to Sunday, under the direction and delegation of the ward manager and clinical nurse leaders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalised and safe meal services to patients, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the ward pantry, and ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.

Minimum Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Current food handling certificate would be preferable.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting meal trays and pushing meal trolleys.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be a team player with a committed and professional approach.
Interact with patients ensuring they are supported with their dietary needs where possible.
Ability to maintain a safe environment for yourself and others.
