Our House Officer rotations are across departments, including Surgical, Urology, Orthopaedics, Medicine, Assessment Unit, Emergency Department, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, and Relief. We also have Community-based attachments available.

Whangarei Hospital is the largest hospital in Te Tai Tokerau, a largely rural region with many high health needs and interesting pathology.
