We're certainly going places and to support our expanding portfolio across New Zealand with our recent exciting partnership with Heritage Hotels, we're on the lookout for a Hotel General Manager to lead our team at the Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Queenstown.Overlooking the Remarkable Mountain range and rising from the waters of Lake Wakatipu, the Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Queenstown offers 175 rooms, 7 conference rooms, and a restaurant and bar.About the role:Reporting to the Director of Operations NZ, and with you at the helm as mentor and coach, the thing that sets you apart is your passion for people and your exceptional service that knows no bounds. You embrace the 'big picture' without losing sight of financial targets and strategic goals.Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):Oversee the daily operations and performance of the hotel including all departments and team members, ensuring smooth running and exemplary guest service.Implement strategies relevant to cost minimisation, productivity maximisation, and guest satisfaction.Conduct development and performance reviews, identifying key team members for further development and structured career pathing.Prepare and review budgets and forecasts, managing and chasing debtors, overseeing orders, and conducting audits within company policy and procedures.Drive increased F&B, MICE, and C&E revenue to exceed budgets and KPIs.About You:Minimum 6+ years' experience as a hotel resort general manager, with either current or previous New Zealand experience (175+ keys, MICE, C&E, and F&B).An inspirational leader with experience leading a team in a customer service environment.Thorough understanding of all areas of hospitality business operations, with strong financial acumen.Demonstrated experience implementing strategies and driving growth.Strong F&B experience, with the ability to grow and develop new products.High level of MICE and C&E experience with demonstrated examples of exceeding KPIs.High standards of attention to detail and communication (written & verbal).Exceptional stakeholder and owner engagement.Excellent grooming and personal presentation.General Managers Certificate (NZ)You must have Working Rights for New ZealandWhy TFE Hotels (perks):Supportive, friendly team and company culture.Global hotel discounts for you and your family and friends.Travel and wellness discounts.Paid Birthday leave to celebrate the day and eat cake.Food and Beverage discounts at our cool bars with amazing views.Leave options to attend to the things in life that are important to you.Paid parental leave.International exchange opportunities.Learning, development, and career progression.Community - Giving back out there feels extra good here.Recognition with your chance to shine.At TFE Hotels, we recognise and celebrate your uniqueness, and promise to give more back.Are you ready to shine?
