At Haukai Bistro & Bar and Novotel New Plymouth Taranaki we are on a mission to provide the best restaurant experience in New Plymouth and in our quest to be the best we need to fill a few roles to ensure we position ourselves at the forefront of guest expectations. The restaurant focuses on regional cuisine that highlights the best local produce from the Taranaki region. Featuring indoor and outdoor dining areas, it is the perfect place to relax with a meal accompanied by fine New Zealand wine or gin. This is a very busy restaurant and we set very high expectations, so we are only seeking the absolute best people to deliver on our promises and to provide the ultimate guest experience. We are looking for vibrant and charismatic Food and Beverage SUPERSTARS, with a strong background in the hospitality industry to join our small Food and Beverage team. We currently have full-time (30 hours minimum per week) and part-time (15-20 hours minimum per week) roles availabe. All roles require flexibility to work on a roster basis any day of the week between Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, when applicable. Breakfast shifts will start as early as 04:45 and late shifts will be until the restaurant close time, normally by 23:00, sometimes later, sometimes a bit earlier. You may be required to work breakfast, lunch, and dinner shirts during the week.
