About the role Right now we have a great opportunity - we are looking for a full time Pou Tiaki to be based at our new building, Moera Library. In this role, you'll get to support the opening of the new site, which is happening at end of January 2025.
You will assist in our library as required, along with an interest in working with community to create and deliver programmes and events, including for Tamariki and Rangatahi.
The purpose of this position is to deliver customer-centric services that are responsive to the community's needs, optimise our spaces for community use and increase awareness of and engagement with community regarding council wide services.
About You You are a confident, team player, looking for an opportunity engage in a role supporting our local community.
For this position you will need to provide high quality, welcoming frontline service to all customers. You'll embrace our diverse local community, have confidence dealing with a wide range of customer groups and be open to learning new things. Your ability to think on your feet combined with your passion for amazing customer service will mean you'll be a star in this role.
