What will I be doing?
We are currently seeking a Hospitality Professional – Porter to join our team! As a Hospitality Professional you will be a specialist in the Front Office department. You will also be a generalist in all entry level front of house and back of house roles.
As a Hospitality Professional - Porter, you will work together with our Front Office team to provide an unforgettable guest experience. The team is responsible for the organization and smooth running of all processes in the hotel lobby.
Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Welcome our guests on arrival and assist them throughout their stay
Show guests to their rooms and explain the amenities and emergency procedures
Prepare the lobby information board
Safely valet guest cars and drive hotel complementary shuttle service
Keep up-to-date with hotel and local services and events
Provide support to the Concierge as required
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a suitable candidate who can cover this position from July 2024 onwards. In your new role, you will be working on behalf of our Guests and collaborating with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
A passion for contributing to and enhancing our guests' experience
Previous customer service experience in the hotel, leisure and/or retail sector
Excellent personal presentation
Valid driver's license
