Are you a dynamic hospitality professional with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences? Jack's Point Hospitality Management Ltd are seeking a talented Hospitality Operations Manager for this newly formed role.
Set at the base of the stunning Remarkables Mountain Range and overlooking Lake Wakatipu, Jack's Point is one of New Zealand's premier golf destinations and residential communities. Leading the setup and daily operations of our visitor accommodation program and overseeing our recognised restaurant & bar services, this is a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team to deliver outstanding guest service.
About the Role Working closely with the General Manager - Golf & Hospitality, you'll take charge of establishing and managing our visitor accommodation program, leading the operations of Jack's Point Restaurant & Bar, and ensuring every guest experience is seamless and memorable. From overseeing reservations and housekeeping to developing pricing strategies and coordinating maintenance, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of our hospitality offerings. You'll also provide leadership to our Food & Beverage team, drive revenue growth, and manage the setup of a welcoming reception area within the Jack's Point Clubhouse.
About You Proven experience in hospitality operations, including reservations, housekeeping, and food & beverage.
Able to think strategically, and to lead and inspire a team to deliver upon it.
A proactive and professional approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service, and implementing initiatives that enhance our guest experience and offering.
The ability to recruit, train and lead staff, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment.
Highly organized and diligent, with strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
A qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field would be advantageous.
Experience with property management systems would be an advantage.
General Manager's Licence or the ability to get one is essential.
