About the role: As a Hospitality Ambassador, you will ensure our gaming floor customers have the best possible hospitality experience by delivering outstanding customer service practices and the seamless, efficient, and timely provision of food and beverage services. You will provide direction, training, and development to junior team members to ensure our hospitality service offering is the best it can be. The Hospitality Ambassador may work in any of the following capacities as an F&B Attendant or Duty Manager on any shift or partial shift, depending on business needs. You will also; Direct and support all customer inquiries as required Operate the till and take payments Be comfortable being on your feet and on the move for long periods Promote responsible gaming and alcohol consumption at all times Provide support when we are hosting functions Ensure the gaming floor and service areas are kept clean, tidy, and inviting This is a Full-time opportunity, working 40 hours/week across a variety of shifts including nights and weekends. This role is remunerated at $28.88/hr. About you It'll be your winning attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work under pressure which will make you a great fit for SkyCity. To be successful in this role, you will also; Have a minimum two years' demonstrated customer service experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment Be a holder of (or able to obtain) a Manager's certificate, and demonstrated knowledge of requirements as a duty manager of licensed premises (Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012) Have sound knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene requirements for food and beverage operations Pride yourself on your excellent personal presentation and a demonstrated understanding of the hygiene requirements of the role Have a high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Be fluent in the use of Microsoft Office suite Be aged 20 years or older with a clear criminal history due to licensing requirements Preference will be given to applicants residing in New Zealand.
