Shifts: Candidates must be able to work all shifts (Morning, Afternoon and Nights) between Monday - Sunday.
Status: Permanent Location: Burwood, Christchurch Salary: Starting from $60100-$70358 per annum.

Mo te tunga - About the Role Our Older Persons Health Specialist Service provides geriatric services for older people in Canterbury.
Burwood Hospital is the major centre for specialist Older Persons Health services, including Assessment Treatment & Rehabilitation.
A Hospital Aide is an integral part of our team of health professionals.
We are looking for a Hospital Aide who has excellent communication skills and the ability to use their initiative.
You will enjoy being busy and don't mind that the role can be physically demanding.
You will be hard-working and enjoy working in a well-established team.
Your Responsibilities: Assisting nursing staff with patient cares Keeping the ward tidy and organised Ordering and restocking of supplies Engaging effectively with patients and staff Problem solving and decision-making as needed Working efficiently in a multidisciplinary team Taking initiative and a proactive approach to work Utilising strong computer skills and administration experience (advantageous) Previous experience as a Hospital Aide or similar (ideal) Nga hua - Benefits: Ongoing training and development Fantastic Working Environment - Fully resourced modern facility with a friendly, supportive team.
