The Christchurch Women's Hospital provides maternity services that are specialised to provide care to women who have medical problems or are experiencing complications in their pregnancy.
This position plays a key role in the effective functioning of the ward. We have a high turnover of patients and work within a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a Hospital Aide to help maintain a safe and clean work environment. You will be responsible for:
Cleaning and making up birthing rooms; Cleaning and preparing theatres; Ward cleaning and stocking; Ordering food and linen supplies; Delivering patient meals. This position on the birthing suite has minimal patient contact. You will enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team, have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to work well under pressure.
