Based on the NZNO Nursing and Midwifery collective agreementMo te tunga - About the Role The Christchurch Women's Hospital provides maternity services that are specialised to provide care to women who have medical problems or are experiencing complications in their pregnancy.
This position plays a key role in the effective functioning of the ward. We have a high turnover of patients and work within a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a Hospital Aide to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
You will be responsible for: Cleaning and making up birthing rooms;Cleaning and preparing theatres;Ward cleaning and stocking;Ordering food and linen supplies;This position on birthing suite has minimal patient contact.
You will enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team, have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Please note the successful candidate must be able to work all shifts.
