Hose Technician

About the role: The primary purpose of the Hose Technician is to provide maintenance and breakdown service of hydraulic systems within the Waihi area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Providing technical service and troubleshooting support for customers
• Repair and replace hydraulic hoses at customer sites
• Build lasting relationships with new and existing customers
• Attend to customer queries regarding hydraulic hose related matters
• Manufacture hose assemblies as required
• Maintain van stock and equipment and ensure a professional image is maintained at all times
Skills and experience: • NZ Drivers Licence
• Strong knowledge of, and experience in, hydraulic hose and fittings
• Broad exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic Industrial/Mobile equipment
• Fitting and Machining
• Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
• Logical problem solving skills
