About The RoleReporting to the Operations Manager, you'll take ownership of maintaining the grounds of a high-profile retirement village. From planting and pruning to general vegetation control, your work will ensure the gardens remain beautiful and inviting for residents and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:Designing, creating, and maintaining gardens to meet client specifications.Sourcing plants and materials, following garden plans, and planting according to best practices.Overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned sites within the contract.Communicating regularly with the Operations Manager and/or client, promptly addressing any garden or planting issues.Maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality in all tasks.About YouYou are an experienced horticulturist who takes pride in delivering top-quality results. You'll bring:
A Level 4 National Certificate in Horticulture and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.A full driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual.Strong knowledge of plant species and their maintenance requirements.The ability to follow and implement detailed garden plans accurately.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with residents if needed.A proactive attitude and dedication to achieving high standards in every task.What We OfferAt Green by Nature, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals, grow your expertise, and advance your career in horticulture.
