We are seeking a Technical Horticulture/Sales Representative (THR) to join our Fruitfed part of the business in the stunning coastal town of Gisborne, New Zealand. Embrace a unique work-life balance while contributing your skills to a thriving community and enjoying breathtaking landscapes.

We have a huge area of growth in the horticulture space, and our growers need your support! We seek a true go-getter to generate new business opportunities and support existing customers/growers. This role would be perfect for someone from a horticultural background blended with proven business development expertise and sales.
What you'll get up to As a Technical Horticulture Representative, you'll provide technical and industry knowledge to assist growers in producing profitable and sustainable fruit and vegetable crops.
This role involves travelling throughout the region, providing technical and sales advice to existing customers/growers and canvasing new opportunities. You'll also work alongside the local store team and the wider business by sharing knowledge and offering practical sales support. You'll be someone who can be a part of a grower's business, both big and small, identify crop issues and offer fit-for-purpose advice, solutions and products that support a customer's goals.
Our wish list of skills and experience: Practical knowledge of the New Zealand Horticulture sector
Onsite/field experience (for example, fruit and vegetable crops)
Confidence and proven expertise in sales and developing new business
Strong customer solutions focus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reasonable fitness, as some heavy lifting and physical work can be required
Full, current and clean New Zealand driver's licence (essential).
