| What is the role?
Our Homebased Support Service is our largest service, with over 400 support workers caring for whanau in their homes throughout the Mataatua rohe.
Our Coordinators are dedicated to their mahi, coordinating a caseload of support workers to ensure whanau receive the utmost quality support and care in the comfort of their own homes.
This mahi includes recruiting and supporting support workers and coordinating referrals and cares for clients.
Home visits are required and care plans need to be developed for our clients.
A vehicle will be available to use for this role for the required travel.
This is a super busy role, in an environment where no two days are the same - but the mahi is rewarding!
For this mahi, we are looking for a genuinely caring person, who is the epitome of aroha ki te tangata.
It would be great if you have a strong admin skillset and can pick up new systems fairly quickly, as the majority of your mahi will revolve around our payroll and client management system.
Great communication is paramount for this mahi too, because you'll need to be in constant liaison with your clients and support workers, as well as your team back at the office in Whakatane.
