About the role This is not an entry level role.
We are offering a full time permanent position, in our Guest Services team.
Our team is small but dynamic.
Everyone helps to get the product ready for our guests.
This role will include a mix of housekeeping duties on the morning shifts, including making beds and laundry duties as well as front reception.
You will be taking, making and amending bookings for the holiday park and motel guests and responding to emails and requests.
You will be hiring out bikes, selling activities/trips and generally providing local information to the guests.
You will need to consistently engage to a high standard with our guests, from booking to check out and everything in between.

First Aid Workplace qualification provided 2 regular days off a week, eg Sunday & Monday Skills and experience Reservation experience is preferred, however applicants with a strong customer service background and a track record of sales will also be considered .
Communication is key in a small team.
Being able to clearly articulate booking details in emails, over the phone and in person, is essential.
We are looking for a strong team player as all Guest Services staff are expected to step in and help with all duties at the holiday park.
This is not a 'sit behind the reservations desk' role.

Flexibility is key in the tourism industry.
Currently the shifts start from 10am-6pm or 12pm-8pm but they change with the high/low seasons.
Ideally applicants will be residents in NZ and or seeking long term employment, ie a commitment for at least 12 months.
