We seek an existing industry worker already residing in NZ to undertake this permanent full time position. You would be employed to assist the park owners and the senior duty manager in the successful day to day running of the holiday park.Key skills and experience required:Confident and clear communicator in one to one and group situationsCalm and friendly demeanour when dealing with guests.Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly navigate reservation management systems (Newbook preferred but not essential, training will be given)Strong New Zealand tourism knowledgeFamiliarity with staff recruitment, training and management practices including orientationKnowledge of Health and Safety best practices.Minimum 5 years supervising experience in accommodation based businessStrong understanding of the connection between reception, housekeeping and maintenanceThis is a full time live on site position. We seek a candidate who is solution focused when faced with day-to-day challenges typical of the accommodation industry.A hands on approach and understanding of outdoor grounds and maintenance is essential. This is a 14-hectare property with a strong outdoor team, whilst working in this department of the park is not essential to the position advertised. A thorough understanding of how it works and its connectivity to reception and housekeeping is.Only NZ based candidates already working in the tourism sector will be considered for this position.
