About the role Position: Hoist Driver
We are looking for someone to join our team and take their hoist driving skills to the next level by operating our 50 tonne container handlers. Previous forklift driving experience is preferred but not essential.
Location: Woolston, Christchurch
Status: Full Time
This position comes with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.
Hours of work are between 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, and Saturdays 7am to 12pm as required.
Duties • Supporting ground functions by moving containers around the yard as required
• Communicating in a clear and co-operative manner using RT communication
• Driving a single or double stacker container hoist, assisting with container stacking to a maximum height of 8 high (max rated capacity: 45,000kg)
• Loading/unloading of trucks and work areas as required
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are always adhered to
About You • Full NZ Class 1 Licence (Required)
• Class 2 Licence (Preferred, but not essential) confidence with heavy machinery is a must!
• Demonstrated focus on Zero Harm and always working safely
