This position is to commence at the beginning of term 1, 2025, 27 January.
We seek a dynamic, innovative, and enthusiastic leader of materials technology to join our Technology Learning Area.
We invite applications for a dynamic and student-centred teacher of materials technology who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and nurturing a love and use for hard materials in our students.
As a valued member of our dedicated Technology Learning Area, you will contribute to an innovative and collaborative educational environment, where all support professional growth and development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in teaching materials technology, preferably up to NCEA Level 3, and potentially Scholarship.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA) . The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,678 to $99,216, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. An individual's actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
We would anticipate the hours of work to be approximately 40 per week.
Successful applicants would be expected to participate in the extensive co-curricular programme of the college.
