This role is be responsible for creating, implementing and managing the content and engagement plan across our Hockey New Zealand and Vantage Black Sticks channels with the objective to grow and inspire our hockey fan whanau, grow our database and drive commercial outcomes.

One of our strategic pillars is to "amplify our game", which means sharing the phenomal stories of our sport, while developing engaging content which resonates with our passionate community and new fans alike. This role is at the heart of this activity.
The role will be responsible for leveraging our digital channels to engage and entertain fans across the country, while creating content which grows and inspires our hockey fan whanau, grows our database, supports our media parnterships, and drives commercial outcomes.
We're looking for a content and digital channels superstar who can supercharge the growth and engagement of our channels while building relationships with our media, our players & participants, and our commercial partners. About You You will be energetic and passionate, and an expert in your craft. With three or more years in a digital content or media environment, you will bring proven experience capturing and creating world class written, still and video content for teams or innovative brands. Your experience in managing digital channels for a well known brand will enable you to make the role your own and maximise the value of our partnerships. You will hold yourself to a high standard, with great professional and personable skills. You will have the ability to build relationships quickly, creating trust within the high-performance environment.
