Woodford House, a leading special character, state-integrated, boarding and day school for Y7–13 girls, in Hawke's Bay is seeking to appoint a permanent, full-time history teacher to join our passionate and enthusiastic team for 12 months to cover a secondment. We nurture each girl who walks through our doors so that her light shines through and shines brighter.
About the role:
We are looking to appoint a history teacher to cover a secondment of a permanent teacher. This role would suit a beginner or experienced teacher. The position is to commence term 1 and end in December 2025.
About you:
Registration with the Teaching Council of New Zealand, or ability to obtain it
A relevant teaching or other qualification
The ability to teach history to a senior level
The ability to promote exceptional education in a blended learning environment
A willingness to meet our future-focused learning goals
High level communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to our school's special character.
