Job Description Hiring for Diesel Mechanics to join a role that will provide opportunities to upskill for those keen to progress in their career.

Tasks include (but are not limited to): Responsible for vehicle engines, steering systems, gearboxes, and braking systems. Diagnosing broken diesel machinery to identify the source of malfunctions. Repairing damaged and nonfunctional units to working condition. Requirements Must have worked at global brand workshops. Heavy diesel mechanic experience working on trucks and heavy machinery. Proven experience and understanding of Health and Safety and the hazards of operating on construction sites. A good level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role. Able to pass a drug test. A solution-focused attitude, with strong forward planning and adaptability. Must have a good level of spoken and written English. Good customer relation skills, remaining calm and controlled even under pressure. Education: Some secondary education is required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field is required. If the candidate does not have at least 2 years of experience, then a post-secondary education certificate OR completion of a three-to-four-year apprenticeship program is required.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding; handling heavy loads (up to 45 kg / 100 lbs). Work site environment: fast-paced environment, at heights.

Age Range: 18-45. Older candidates may be considered based on experience.

Language: Intermediate English is required.

Salary: $23.00 hourly, 30-56.5 hours per week.
