Tasks include (but is not limited to): • Responsible for vehicle engines, steering systems, gearboxes, and braking systems. • Diagnosing broken diesel machinery to identify source of malfunctions. • Repairing damaged and nonfunctional units to working condition. RequirementsMust have worked at global brand workshops. • Heavy diesel mechanic working on trucks and heavy machinery. • Proven experience and understanding of Health and Safety and the hazards of operating on construction sites. • A good level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role • Able to pass a Drug test. • A solu-on-focused aVtude, with strong forward planning and adaptability. • Must have a good level of spoken and wriWen English. • Have good customer relation skills, remaining calm and controlled even when the pressure is on. Requirements
-Education: Some secondary education is required. -Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field are required. If the candidate does not have at least 2 years of experience, then a post-secondary education certificate OR completion of a three-to-four-year apprenticeship program is required. -Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding; Handling heavy loads (up to 45 kg/100 lbs) -Work site environment: Fast-paced environment, At heights -Age Range: 18-45. Older candidates may be presented based on experience. -Language: Intermediate English is required Salary: $23.00 hourly, 30 – 56.5 hours per week.
