We do this through life-changing programmes we develop, establish and manage including HIPPY since 1992.
HIPPY - Home Interaction Programme for Parents and Youngsters - is an internationally successful home-based programme that helps parents create pre-school experiences that lay the foundation for their children's success in school and later life.We are looking for a Regional Manager who can work from our Auckland office to manage a dispersed service delivery team across Tai Tokerau, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty.The Regional Manager, reporting to the National Director, will have full responsibility for the development, delivery and quality of the programme in their region and will manage a team of local coordinators (with tutors).
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a two-generational programme that, as well as setting children on a positive pathway through education, opens doors for parents into training, education and employment.The successful candidate requires:Tertiary level qualifications in a related field eg.
management, education, social services, community developmentMinimum of 3 years senior management experience, preferably within a community-based Not for ProfitExperience successfully managing service delivery across a large geographical areaExcellent stakeholder engagement skills with a commitment to working in partnershipHigh level problem solving, judgement and decision-making skillsA commitment to developing and utilising research and evidence-based practiceA current driver's licence and the ability to regularly travel within the region (a car is provided)A satisfactory Children's Act checkWhat We Offer:Competitive salary with fully maintained vehicle for work purposesAnnual closedown over Christmas and New Year holidaysPaid leave on your birthdaySupportive team environmentFor more information see our website www.greatpotentials.org.nz.Applications through the SEEK website only please.
