We are on the hunt for a professional, personable hiking guide to host our multi-day hiking tours exploring the North Island's most spectacular areas. Our trips are designed carefully for small groups with lots of logistics, and our guides are the crucial keystones for ensuring the trip runs smoothly and each client enjoys the walking holiday of a lifetime.
As well as guiding on the trails, the role involves a fair amount of driving and cooking, some light cleaning and lots of socialising. The days are long; physically and mentally demanding, but a lot more fun than sitting at a desk. Our season begins in October and ends in April. Most trips are 4 days, 3 nights with guide accommodation and meals included.
The areas we cover are Great Barrier Island, Coromandel, Lake Waikaremoana, Taranaki and Tongariro National Park.
