As a HIAB Driver at our CARTERS Porirua branch, you will be visiting a variety of sites with various ground/surfaces, serving our customers within our dry shed, panel, and timber yard store areas and driving a forklift when necessary - your adaptability will be key as this is a fast-paced and physical role. You'll also:
Carry out customer deliveries to residential and commercial construction sites efficiently and on time.Unload product deliveries on-site in accordance with health and safety regulations.Pick and assemble customer orders.Provide exceptional customer service to all customers on and off site.About you Full, Clean NZ Drivers Licence Class 2 Truck Licence or above HIAB Load Security Skills is preferred but if you don't have this, we will train you. Forklift Licence (F Endorsed is a bonus)A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers.Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handlingBuilding industry knowledge is advantageous.Benefits to Building your Career with Carters Security and work-life balance.
