Herd/Shed Manager

Job Description: Herd /Shed Manager required. We have 2 farms joined together, each side with 500 cows and 40 aside herringbones with auto cup removers and auto teat spraying.We work as one big team at calving and through one shed until enough cows to start the second Shed. This position is to manage one Herd and Shed under the guidance of contract milkers, so must have experience. We milk twice a day until Christmas, then 3 in 2 milkings. We are a simple all grass system.Accommodation: 3 bedroom with double glazing, heat pump, and double garage.Hourly & Remuneration:Avg Hrs / Wk: 50Rostered Time off: By negotiationRemuneration: $65000 Total Package Value (e.g. Salary and/or benefits) Negotiable.
