Job Description We are looking for a senior farm assistant / herd manager for the up coming season . We milk 620 cows on our family owned self-contained farm in Dipton West Southland through a 40aside HB shed with in shed feeding, acrs, walk over teat spray, auto draft and cow manager. All cows are wintered on farm along with some beefies too. We are looking for someone preferably with 3 to 4 years experience to assist in the day to day running of the farm and be in charge of junior staff on 2ics days off . applicant must be experienced in all areas of dairy farming ie milk harvesting, animal health treatment and feeding out / mowing.
