Herd Manager

Job Description Milking 450 cows through a 40 aside herringbone shed.
System 3 with a Feedpad.
You must be confident riding Quad bikes, 2 wheelers, and tractors with implements on a feedpad.
You need to understand and take responsibility for daily tasks, such as: Running of the dairy Effluent management Feeding Carrying out milk harvesting Solving milk quality problems Maintaining plant and shed hygiene Animal health On-farm safety as per farm policy Complete tasks with minimal supervision and supervise and train other staff.
You will look for opportunities to work more effectively and efficiently to improve the business.
You will be required to do all tasks in the absence of the employer or other staff.
Salary: $29.66/hr (Min 35 hrs - Max 45) Accommodation: A small 3 bedroom house.
Requirements: No criminal convictions.
You must be drug-free.
A pre-employment and random drug testing will be implemented.
No pets.
You are required to live on-farm due to the requirements of the job.
You must have a full driving license.
No smoking or vaping on-farm.
