About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced heavy machine operator to join our team in Auckland. This position is ideal for someone looking to further their career in the construction industry and work on exciting, large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, and loaders to perform construction tasks.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

At least 3 years of experience operating heavy machinery in the construction industry.
A valid NZ vehicle license.
Strong understanding of construction site safety and protocols.
Excellent mechanical skills and the ability to perform routine maintenance.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Flexibility to work across various shifts and project locations.
A class 4-5 license (good to have but not needed).
