Heavy Machine Operator - Taranaki

Stellar Recruitment currently have multiple Heavy Machine Operator positions available in the Taranaki region.Full time, permanent work with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per weekYour ordinary hours of work will be 40 hours per week normally worked between 6:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday. However, you may be required to work the occasional Saturday.$28-$30 per hourWhat you need to be successful in this role:You must have at least 1.5 years of relevant work experienceYou must be able to work within the timeframe of the project and be a reliable member of the team.Knowing, understanding, communicating, and ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety regulationsExperience in the earthmoving sector with experience operating dozers, diggers, graders and scrapersCandidates who can operate GPS machines and do everything from bulk earthmoving, trenching, digging and final trim finished will be looked upon favourably.Key tasks and responsibilities:Load TrucksBatter trimmingsOperate a variety of power and hand toolsEnsure tools and equipment are cleaned, maintained and storedAssess, identify and notify Supervisor of any technical issuesOperate various items of plant and ancillary equipment as required by Supervisor, including but not limited to excavators, loaders, dozers, dump trucks and other associated machineryIf this sounds like you, click the APPLY button and submit your CV today!
