Full time, permanent work with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
Your ordinary hours of work will be 40 hours per week normally worked between 6:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday. However, you may be required to work the occasional Saturday.
$28-$30 per hour
About the role: Conduct bulk excavation works
Load Trucks
Dig trenches
Batter trimmings
Operate a variety of power and hand tools
Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned, maintained and stored
Assess, identify and notify Supervisor of any technical issues
Operate various items of plant and ancillary equipment as required by Supervisor, including but not limited to excavators, loaders, dozers, dump trucks and other associated machinery
What you need to be successful in this role: You must have at least 1.5 years of relevant work experience
You must be able to work within the timeframe of the project and be a reliable member of the team.
Knowing, understanding, communicating, and ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety regulations
Experience in the earthmoving sector with experience operating dozers, diggers, graders and scrapers
Candidates who can operate GPS machines and do everything from bulk earthmoving, trenching, digging and final trim finished will be looked upon favourably.
