We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer with design experience to join our dynamic Heavy Industry team. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to design electrical infrastructure that supports our industrial clients in the electrification and maintenance of their assets.
Daily responsibilities may include:
Design of electrical systems (HV and LV) for major industrial energy users (seaports, airports, hospitals, food processing, mines, etc).Feasibility investigations, concept studies, detailed designs.Equipment layout, switchboard and cable design, and overall project coordination of draughtspersons and geotechnical, structural and civil engineers.Secondary and protection design.Opportunity to lead and manage project teams as a technical lead or become a technical specialist in your field.Preparing high-quality written reports, drawings and setting files and presentations, for both internal and customer consumption.We are looking for a self-driven team player who has excellent interpersonal skills. The successful applicant should ideally have an Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree, and experience in the New Zealand or Australian Power Industry.
