EquipFix, based in New Plymouth is a repair solutions provider to the Heavy Plant and Equipment sectors, including services to other industries such as, but not limited to Construction, Quarrying, Forestry, Industrial, Power Generation and Road Transport.
EquipFix is an authorised Parts & Service Dealer for CablePrice New Zealand Ltd. CablePrice is New Zealand's exclusive authorised dealer for Hitachi Construction Machinery, Bell Equipment, McCloskey International, HSC Cranes, Isuzu Power Solutions, Sullair, Montabert and MB attachments.
We're currently looking for a Heavy Diesel Technician to join our dynamic team in Bell Block, New Plymouth.
You'll be responsible for field based and workshop repairs, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with efficient problem solving techniques. To be considered you will need to hold or be near completion of a level 4 New Zealand Heavy Automotive Engineering certification in Plant and Equipment or Road Transport.

About you:
Hold a current Full driver's licence (classes 2- 5, and/or WTR an advantage)
Great problem solver with a fix it right the first time approach
Positive, can do attitude
Strong attention to detail
Willing to upskill
Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to interact well with clients and maintain a high level of customer care
