Responsibilities Lockheed Martin plays a key role in keeping the NZDF fleet of vehicles in Waiouru operational.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Maintain peak performance and reliability of our client's heavy diesel vehicles and plant equipment
Conduct routine maintenance servicing and safety tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
Fault finding/troubleshooting and conducting preventative maintenance to address potential issues
About You You have a passion for the trade, a strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork skills.
To see you succeed in this role you will also have:
An NZQA qualification in Heavy Road Transport or working towards this qualification
Full class 1 and 2 licence
A proactive approach to equipment maintenance
A positive attitude and friendly manner

Special Requirements Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a New Zealand Defence Security Clearance by meeting one of the following criteria:
A NZ Permanent Resident who has resided in NZ for the past 5 years OR
A citizen of Australia, Canada, UK, or the USA who has a current work permit for NZ
You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
