Heavy Diesel Mechanic

About the opportunity: Due to growth within the company, we are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a dynamic team in Porirua.
Our client is a well-established company that values its staff.
Working in a busy workshop you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and completing preventive maintenance on a variety of truck brands working alongside an experienced team.
Working Monday to Friday 7 am till 5 pm and working a half day on Saturday when required.
Key responsibilities: Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of trucks.
Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
Collaborating with a team of skilled mechanics and technicians to achieve top-notch results.
About you: Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
