You will also have the use of a company vehicle for field service dutiesThis is a permanent, full-time role offering a work week of at least 40 hours The role Field service and workshop-based dutiesPerform maintenance, electrical and repair work to a wide variety of trucksDiagnostics using technical manuals, computer-based systems, and specialized tools for precise repairsConduct comprehensive checks to ensure adherence to safety and quality standardsAttending to breakdowns out in the fieldProvide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and explaining repairsMaintain accurate records of service, repairs, parts used and labour hours Skills sought Our preference is for trade qualified diesel mechanics and heavy auto electriciansPost-qualification experience working as a heavy auto electric or diesel mechanic working on heavy road transport/trucks is requiredAbility to work unsupervisedSolid diagnostics experienceGood communication skills and the ability to work well in a teamAble to work to deadlinesA focus on top customer service
