Heavy Diesel Mechanic

This role will perform inspections and repairs on heavy vehicles including agricultural tractors and other farming machinery and give advice to customers regarding their vehicles.
Core objectives include:

Following company-created checklists to inspect and test vehicles.
Performing standard mechanical repairs on heavy vehicles.
Servicing tractors and other machinery in line with service requirements and checklists.
Writing labour, time, and parts cost estimates.
Testing vehicles before and after repair procedures.
Maintaining the workshop and customer areas and keeping inventory areas well-organized.
Ordering vehicle parts by phone or online.
General cleaning of workshop.
Ensuring customer's vehicles are returned clean and presentable.
High standards of workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $29.66 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Weekend availability

Experience:

Heavy Diesel Mechanic: 2 years (Required)

Licence/Certification:

Drivers Licence (Preferred)
